Maggot: the immature/infant stage of a wasp/fly which lacks
legs and a developed head

Metamorphosis: the process of change or growth which
ultimately results in the adult stage of an insect

Mechanical (Pest) Control: using mechanical means to control a
pest, such as screens and traps etc

Microbial: a germ or microscopic organism

Microbial Insecticide: Viruses or bacterium (a preparation
of micro-organism or their products) utilized in suppressing insect pest
populations
