The North West Metro line opens on Sunday 26/5/2019.  Sydney Metro Northwest is a driver-less light rail link to the NW suburbs of Sydney, NSW. It connects Rouse Hill through to Chatswood travelling via Castle Hill & Epping.

The Station Link will handle over 4,300,000 trips taken on the new, fleet of highly visible pink buses since 13/5 2019.

From 26/5/19 Sydney Metro delivers high frequency services from between Rouse Hill & Chatswood.

You just turn up without looking at any timetable and go as the trains arrive and depart repeatedly and frequently. The new line stops at thirteen stations along the Metro North West Line, with eight new stations and five newly upgraded stations.

In addition a North West Night travel bus, will be available in the North West from each Sunday to Wednesday.

The Opal Network

Sydney Metro is now part of the Opal network so you can pay your fare with the normal Opal card. All new fares will be as existing train fares & all concessions with Opal card will apply.
