Damp Proofing: A treatment commenced on a building structure that prevents moisture entering.
Dampwood Termites: A type of termite from the Family Termopsidea. Examples of species of termites in NSW are Porotermes adamsoni and Neotermes insularis. They are associated with damp, decaying wood such as fallen logs and in decaying timbers in buildings or fences.
Decay: The decomposition of rotting matter. The organic process of rotting.
